SambaLa Rio-Style Parade

Parade 1: Rio-Style Parade 3:00-4:30 pm

This is a Rio-Style parade in the traditions of the great carnaval parades in Rio de Janeiro. The parade includes a sound car, a large bateria, over 25 samba feather dancers, a children's section, a float, a bahiana group, and the King of Carnaval.

The parade on the Promenade from 5th to 3rd street.





Parade 2: Trio-Electrio Parade 5:30 - 6:00 pm

A "Trio-Electrio" or Electrio Parade features a sound card, a big drum corp and most important: YOU! Like in Bahia, you can buy a T-Shirt and be part of the parade. This year's "bloco" (parade group) is lead by the Brazilian group Made in Bahia.
