Many Friends over the Years
After a decade of festivals, the Brazilian Street Carnaval has made many friends over the years including celebrities and bands. Here are just some of them. And the city of Long Beach has embraced our event sending the vice-mayor to give the key to the city to samba celebrities.

- Guilherme Goncalves - Author and samba drum teaching master
- Vera Blasi - Brazilian screenwriter for the movie "Woman on Top" with Penelope Cruz
- Christine Devine - Co-Anchor of Fox 11 news at 10 and SambaLá member
- Valeria Valenssa - Globeleza, Brazil's more famous carnaval muse and samba dancer
- Hans Donner - Brazilian Designer for Globo
- Dain Blanton - Beach Volley ball Gold medalist 2000
- Holly McPeak - Beach Volley ball Bronze medalist 2004
